ABOUT Anita

On most days you may see me walking my dog along Scenic Drive or throughout Carmel in the early morning or at sunset, gardening on the succulent hill in front of my house or, when the Carmel River used to meet the River Beach parking lot, kayaking down to Hwy 1.

I met my husband of 54 years in Berlin, Germany.  We married in my parents’ Bay Area home and then lived in Tennessee, Illinois, and Maryland. Twelve years ago, we returned to California–dreams really do come true.  We have two children and four grandchildren.
